Vinn has painted numerous famous faces throughout her illustrious career. Influenced by the restrained brushstrokes and delicate contours of Van Gogh’s portraiture work, she tasked herself with creating a limited series of contemplative self-portraits (and animated avatars) for her maiden NFT foray.

This is Vinn’s metaverse, the world through her eye(s) and her paintbrush.

This is not vanity. But accepting the notion that it’s harder to do justice to a self-portrait than it is to paint someone else. It’s impossible to emote visually how your external environment views you. You don’t see yourself the way others see you.

A degree of self-reflection was necessary to accomplish this. We are all fearfully and wonderfully made  – be it colored or monochromatic.
