In Aqua Farm, players embark on adventures in the vast ocean as they control NFT characters called Arees. The Arees grow stronger over time, allowing players to take on more challenging quests and dungeons for better rewards. Players start with basic Arees but can acquire more powerful and customizable NFT Arees by using AES tokens to hatch eggs found in the Aqua World.
The ocean serves as the playground for battles and exploration. Players can navigate through dungeons, defeating monsters and reclaiming stolen in-game PODO tokens found on treasure maps scattered throughout the adventure. With progress, players unlock more maps and gain access to dungeons with higher difficulty and greater rewards.
Battles in Aqua Farm follow a turn-based idle battle system, where players strategically place up to five Arees on a deck of nine tiles. Each Aree has its own skills and attack range, with melee and ranged options available. Players must consider Aree attributes, roles, and stats to form effective strategies. Matching an Aree's attribute with the battlefield attribute enhances their battle efficiency.
The game features PvP mode, allowing players to battle against each other using their Aree decks and earning higher rewards. Additionally, non-combat activities like fishing in the Oasis area provide in-game rewards. Players can also earn passive income by purchasing NFT parcels from the ocean and staking them. The scholar program allows players to rent out their NFT Arees and share rewards with scholars who prefer not to invest in their own Arees.
Overall, Aqua Farm offers an immersive gameplay experience where players explore, battle, and customize their Arees in a dynamic oceanic world, with both PvE and PvP modes, as well as non-combat opportunities for earning rewards and engaging with other players.
